Responsibilities:

• Handle new product and process development for whole product range
• Arrange benchtop sample as requested by Marketing
• Conduct pilot plant and factory test run, and verifying the shelf-life of the product
• Formulate standard operating procedures of new developed products
• Coordinate with related departments in new product development and implementation
• Conduct R&D tests and generate R&D related test reports
• Perform cost analysis and risk assessment supported by laboratory analysis of microbiological and chemical results
• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned
• Frequent travel to China is required

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Food Science / Nutrition / Biological Science or related discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in food industry
• Knowledge of HACCP / GMP / ISO22000 system
• Knowledge of product development and sensory analysis
• Good communication, presentation, interpersonal and project management skills
• Energetic, well-organized, strong analytical skill, able to work independently, capable of working under pressure and willing to take up challenges
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• PC Knowledge in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint and Chinese Processing
• Less experience will be considered as R&D Supervisor
