• Supports the design of global elements of the category programme.
• Deliver primary packaging designs.
• Collects Regional Market insights.
• Conduct factory trials and support factory on the implementation
  



Main Accountabilities:

• Interpret the global project brief, and determine the project network, required technical development tasks with guidance. Coordinate the technical development activities on a daily basis.
• Deputize for the technical project manager.
• Is responsible for helping design the primary packaging for the global innovation project and including the proper and sufficient regional technical inputs.
• Is responsible for delivering the global transfer package and providing the sufficient technical support to the regional teams.
• Coordinate market investigation with the regional category team to understand the regional insights. Translate regional insights to global packaging design briefs.
• Define and write global technical specifications for primary pack with guidance.
• Influence CTC strategy by being expected to propose direction to team head.
• Verbally or in writing communicate internally and externally (supplier, agency, the rest of Unilever), e.g. presentation and reports with supervision and approval.
• Conduct lab experiments to validate the packaging, including at suppliers end.



Position Requirement:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in a packaging engineering or polymer material science related areas
• 2-3 years packaging development related experience in FMCG or other industry
• Good communication, Influencing and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin

• Solid PKG science backgroun

• Basic project management skill

• Experience in Packaging development industry is a plus

• Passionate in PKG and beauty category
