The appointee will be assigned to the Early Childhood and Elementary Education Division to support a commissioned project for the development of curriculum framework on parent education for kindergartens in Hong Kong. Duties mainly include: a) design of research tools; b) data collection and data analysis; c) project coordination; d) proposal and report writing; and e) organizing project related activities and seminars. The appointee will also be involved in the coordination and compilation of publication; and related administration and manpower arrangement.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology /Education / Social Science with at least 3 years of post-qualification research experience;
• Master’s degree in related disciplines with less experience would also be considered ;
• Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese ;
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills ; and
• Proficient in statistical analysis and computer applications including MS Office application (English and Chinese), SPSS, etc.

Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of around one year commencing from September 2020. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
