The Job Role

• Lead a team of Engineers and provide overall direction of assigned R&D projects with latest technology innovation and concepts
• Actively seek and drive development of new products or technologies and improve existing products
• Identify cost effective raw material options and develop cost containment strategies
• Manage the development of products, processes, sample/ prototype development and final product
• Work to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers
• Responsible for several high priority projects
• Ensure appropriate project management, monitoring and regular follow up
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably with 8 years of working experience in Electronics Industry dealing with data communications/ networking products
• Be up-to-date on new technology and ability to understand market/ customer requirements
• Significant, sustained product development and delivery record
• Analytical, strategic thinker, and resourceful with good business acumen
• Independent, and possess high drive to excel 
• Travelling required
