The incumbents will take part in research and development of assistive robots & rehabilitation/bio-mechanical engineering enabling technologies for logistics & supply chain industry.

Responsibilities:

The appointee will provide support in research & development activities of the Centre and he/she is required to:

• Participate in design and develop of assistive robots, wearable robots, exoskeletons and rehabilitation engineering for warehouse, logistics and other applications;

• Carry out experiments/trials of proof of concepts (PoC) prototypes.

Requirements:

Applicants should have:

• PhD in Rehabilitation Robotics. Assistive Robots, Biomedical Sensors and/or related engineering/science disciplines;

• At least 3 years’ relevant post-doctoral experience;

• Knowledge of Rehabilitation engineering, biomedical sensors (e.g. EEG, EMG, ECG,…), wearable robots and exoskeletons;

• Hands-on experience in preparing clinical protocols and trials of assistive robots/technologies is preferable; and

• Knowledge of CAE software (e.g. SolidWorks, ROS, OpenCV,…) would be an advantage.
