Responsibilities

We are looking for innovative, collaborative, and highly motivated research scientists to join a small applied machine learning team focused on extracting clinically meaningful signal from messy biological data.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of applied machine learning researchers, engineers, immunologists and medical practitioners to:

• Identify and formalize key research problems in immunomics
• Propose novel approaches to unsolved research problems
• Conduct rapid experimentation and deep scientific engagement for real-world delivery and impact
• Design and implement state-of-the-art systems
• Track the rapidly evolving machine learning and domain-relevant fields

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (M.S. will be considered with compelling industry or academic experience)
• Publication or product implementation record that demonstrates creativity and curiosity in applied machine learning or statistics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with diverse machine learning and statistical approaches
• Publications in major ML conferences or in other scientific venues
• Demonstrated end-to-end project leadership
• Experience applying ML to scientific or medical data
• Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills
