The incumbents will take part in research and development of sensors/actuators, AI and robotic applications in local industries.
 

Responsibilities:

The appointee will provide support in research & development activities of the Centre and he/she is required to:

• Design & develop in the next generation robot sensors and actuators for logistics applications;
• Assist other R&D activities such as experimentations, data analysis, system integration and so on.
• Other ad hoc assignments
  
  

Requirements:

Applicants should have:

• PhD in Engineering, Material Sciences, Applied Physics or other engineering disciplines;
• Knowledge/experience of one of the following areas will be an advantage:
• New sensors and actuators (design, simulation and implementation);
• Good Knowledge and experience in research & develop artificial muscles, soft robots, tactile sensors and piezoelectric sensors/motor for robotic applications;
• Servomotor and/or pneumatic control theories and optimization for robotic systems.  

• Minimum 5 years relevant post-qualification experience;
• Immediate available is definite advantage; and
• Candidate with less experience or less qualification may consider as Researcher /Research Associate.
