This role is responsible for maintaining appropriate by store inventory levels by department/class/sku to maximize profitability in order to meet sales goals.

The allocator will be the primary driver of managing and controlling inventory at the store/sku/size level for their respective areas. Manage inventory from initial allocation through end of life cycle of merchandise, including replenishment and consolidation of goods to other stores or channels. The Allocator will help to identify opportunities at a store level and communicate them to the team in order to drive business.

• Manage initial allocation and replenishment out of the DC:

ü Reviewing initial store allocations and ensuring the suggested results are adequate in terms of quantity and sizing

ü Identifying any necessary distribution amendments and ensuring they are communicated to all necessary parties

ü Master size analysis to optimize allocation

ü Weekly Replenishment to ensure the right amount of product by store according to sale trend

• Build and maintain appropriate inventory levels in each new store:

ü Analyzing performance at store level in key stores and taking responsibility in ensuring stocks are sufficient to maintain sales

ü Maintain the appropriate mix by department/class, style, color and size in each store in order to achieve budgeted turn rate and gross margin.

ü Manage overall store inventory based on store capacity, store performance, seasonality

ü Take ownership of warehouse inventory and aged inventory by door.

• Analyze, Identify and communicate sales opportunities and stock liabilities by door on a regular basis. Ensure that buy quantities and stock levels meet current sales trends and maximize readiness for key selling time periods.

ü Actioning any store stock requests in a timely manner

ü Ad Hoc product/store analysis as required

ü Liaise with Retail Manager in order to better understand needs of the business and follow-up on the weekly performance

• Partner with Logistic in order to ensure to meet delivery deadline to store and the smooth flow from DC to store

ü Related to any special stock build during peak period or new opening stores

ü Be aware and highlight any shipping issues that may affect business.

• Partner with Planner and Buyer :

ü Recap business at door level and create insights at weekly and monthly level

ü Maximize sales and profit by monitoring sales and stock penetrations on key programs as well as clearance and aging by door.

• Supporting the manager to set up and implement Arthur Allocation System: ensure a smooth transfer from Allocation and Replenishment in Excel to Allocation System
