Job Description
Siemens Financial Services (SFS) Equity Americas co-invests equity in real asset infrastructure projects and companies across the Americas. Investment themes include renewables, distributed energy, vehicle electrification ecosystem, public transportation, data infrastructure, food resilience, and health care access. We want you to join our team as a Sr. Risk Manager and will report directly to the Head of Asset and Risk Management and will partner with an Originator to evaluate and negotiate all aspects of potential investments, with a particular focus on the risk elements of a transaction. Responsibilities Transaction structuring and diligence, including negotiating directly with co-investors and co-managing multiple diligence workstreams Will lead asset management activities including representing SFS on the Board of Directors of portfolio companies Asset monitoring from project construction through tracking of operational performance Portfolio management, including composing internal reporting and coordination with the finance team and accounting Maintaining complex project models, including preparation of project valuations supported by defensible inputs during deal phases Ensuring compliance with internal policies and guidelines for all due diligence and asset management activities Continuous development of regional US, Canadian and Latin America market and regulatory knowledge. Qualifications: Sr. Risk Manager you will need 15 years minimum experience in infrastructure investing (private equity/project & structured finance/mergers & acquisitions) Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent required; prefer Master’s Degree Broad deal experience across infrastructure; company maturity (pre-revenue to stable growth), deal process (Public Private Partnerships, international tenders and bi-laterals), sectors (transportation, hospitals and energy), jurisdictions (US, Canada and LATAM) Proficiency in financial modeling, (MS Excel). Project Finance modeling experience preferred Ability to build relationships, work in a team environment with limited supervision, and demonstrate initiative and tenacity completing workstreams with short deadlines Must have strong project management skills and able to manage multiple workstreams Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills, to include fundamental asset valuation skills Willing to travel 10-15% with some international travel Preferred: Spanish language *LI-MGP Organization: Siemens Financial Services Company: Siemens Financial Services, Inc.
