As a Senior SAP Basis Consultant, you will be responsible for the NAS SAP system operations and project delivery in Global Business Services Business Area in Xiamen, Beijing, China.

Reporting to the IS Department Manager, you will provide guidance and hands on support to other teams to adapt a compliant security process.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting ABB Way operating model by taking responsibility for China SAP Services – Basis
• Supporting China SAP costs and charging management to ensure results on China RABA PG 4538 at the end of each quarter
• Actively managing SAP systems to meet the agreed service-level agreement (SLAs), constantly improving SAP system's performance. Ensuring SAP landscape master data and document are updated
• Monitoring all of production system's availability and performance run-timely (at least Daily). Quarterly estimating system capacity
• Following up and complying with Security and IT general controls (ITGC) control requirements
• Reviewing and updating SAP Backup master plan periodically. Refreshing Quality Assurance System (QAS) system periodically
• Annually implementing Mok recovery test for Compliance in-scope systems, annually drill DR
• Taking responsibility for SAP system technical update/upgrade and migration project

Your background

• 5 years of SAP BASIS working experience for SAP ECC, EP, BW/BO system setup, SSO configuration, daily operation, performance tuning
• Experience in managing mainstream Operation Systems, Windows server2016+，Linux, and AIX
• Sound knowledge on mainstream database management, master db2 management, SAP HANA database management skills
• Knowledge on on-premise data center architecture, Azure cloud certification will be preferred
• Strong skills in end-to-end root causes analysis, technically oriented thinking, project management skills, SAP-certified PA will be preferred
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Strong customer-oriented, good skills of ownership, teamwork, communication, leadership, influencing and must be fluent in English
