Job Description

Your Mission

 To ensure the development of the market strategy by successfully growing the company market share in Greater China.

  • Acquire and assess sales opportunities, including identification and proper coverage of buying centre members and stakeholders.
  • Reach sales targets by initiating and managing sales projects till the conclusion of contracts with new clients.
  • Implement a successful sales strategy for designated sales projects and define business cases for customers.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings with customers as well as internal resources; prepare and hold presentations and workshops after having defined the rights USPs and sales message.
  • Coordinate the activity of various stakeholders (e.g. implementation, service and software partners) in sales projects.
  • Prepare offers and answer "requests for information"/ "requests for proposal".
  • Follow Sales Engagement Process.
  • For international accounts, contribute to a multi-sites sales strategy following the instructions/guidelines of the leading Sales Executive/Manager.
  • Represent Avaloq at Banking IT exhibitions and participate to other Sales & Marketing events in the country / area.
  • Defining competitive sales strategy (consolidate info, convert it into a strategy) and executing it
  • Lead contract negotiations to generate profitable deals

Qualifications

What you need

  • At least 8-10 years of relevant sales experience
  • Bachelor's / Masters’ from a recognized institute, preferably specializing in Business / Banking / Computer Science related disciplines.
  • Knows one or more competitive solution/offering
  • Knows several banking domains
  • Experience in strategy development, is up-to-date with change (environmental, social, political changes)
  • Strong in communication, presentation and conflict management skills
  • Capable in generating trust and manage resources effectively
  • Is process competence and adherent
  • Able to negotiate / discuss commercial topics in both English and Mandarin (Simplified and Traditional).
