We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced
 
Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d) DACH for the Spectroscopy product lines
(FT-IR, Raman, NMR and NIR) and Material Characterization, process extrusion and rheology products for Germany, Austria and Switzerland
 
Home office based, the role can be based anywhere within the DACH region



This role is a commercial leadership position responsible for leading sales operations in line with defined strategies in order to achieve sales targets and market share objectives for our Spectroscopy product lines. This position provides commercial sales direction for the sale representatives in the DACH region and potential channel partners.


Your Key Duties:
  • Achieve sales targets for the region.
  • Fully implement all business processes, procedures and programs related to the Commercial Organization including SFDC and forecasting.
  • Regularly communicate the status of the sales organization and current market condition to European sales manager
  • Set sales target for representatives and metrics to monitor sales performance.
  • Build and maintain a strong, motivated team through management and personal development of its members
  • Visit customers with sales representatives to coach and help with sales negotiations. 
  • Always ensure highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and escalate issues when necessary to solve critical tasks in a timely fashion.
  • Implement cross functional sales synergies with our business units and divisions. 


Your background and skills:
  • Academic background in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or a physical science.
  • Successfully proven leadership- and direct sales management experience and ability to drive a sales organization to meet objectives is mandatory.
  • Relevant experience in Capital Equipment Sales is desired.
  • End market- and Industry market knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
  • Excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the DACH-region and other regions as needed (30% - 50%)
