Senior Scientist - Immuno-Oncology / T cell Engagers

What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. The key role of Senior Scientist will encompass preclinical efforts to diversify and support Amgen's large molecule immunotherapy portfolio with an emphasis on Amgen's T cell engager platforms (BiTE® and UniDabs) and approaches to enhance the durability and depth of response to T cell engager therapy in patients. The ideal candidate will have a track record of innovative discovery biology supported by presentations, publications, or patents with a strong drive and experience in advancing therapeutic candidates in Oncology or Immuno-Oncology.
In this vital role you will manage a small research group directly, and lead highly interactive and collaborative project teams drawing members from multiple sites and functions across the entire Research organization. The candidate will initiate novel programs, propose and evaluate new discovery platforms, contribute to the understanding of the in vivo mechanism of action of T cell engagers, and maintain an external scientific presence. Experience with large molecule programs is preferred.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of related experience
Or
Master’s degree and 5 years of related experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree and 7 years of post-doctoral experience, including 3 years in Industry
- Academic experience in the fields of Oncology or Immuno-Oncology, scientific excellence with a prominent publication track record, expertise in mouse models of cancer and experience leading a large molecule program in Industry are preferred.
