Senior Scientist (m/f/d) Development
Region:Hennigsdorf /Berlin
This position is responsible for leading new product development projects with the focus on home sampling at the B.R.A.H.M.S. Biomarker Business Unit of Thermo Fisher Scientific‘s Clinical Diagnostics Division. It requires significant cross-functional coordination and leadership, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to drive collaboration and decision making with all key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and scientific background, Project Management skills, be interested to work internationally, able to understand business strategy, regulation and quality systems, diagnostic technology and clinical applications, able to focus at a detailed level and being comfortable interacting with senior executives and project team members alike. Your responsibilities
A Senior Scientist Development role at Thermo Fisher Scientific / CDD Biomarkers means to implement efficiently feasibility studies and product development projects of innovative Biomarkers. The successful candidate will be part of the R&D team and will report to the head of Development and Product support.

Your Qualification
- Masters’s degree minimum, PhD preferred in a scientific/technical discipline (e.g. biology, chemistry, engineering).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development or project management in the life sciences or health care industries.
- Broad knowledge base in the development of In Vitro Diagnostic and sampling of patient samples
- Knowledge of regulations like IVDR and GMP
- Experience in project management
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
