Your Challenge As Senior Software Architect some of the main activities will be: Understand the long-term business objectives and suggest technical strategies to meet those objectives by introducing technological innovation. Translate product vision into technical architecture evaluating also existing architectures and recommend changes to improve efficiency and performance. Propose, take, and document technical decisions based on functional and non-functional requirements according to the established architectural and design guidelines. Creating detailed designs for new software applications, systems, or processes and user documentation to communicate the intended design to other members of the team. Use a proactive approach to common challenges and by continually researching for standard methodologies. Coach other team members about the technological stack and engineering solution. Work in an agile team and support other team members in their learning journey. Successfully communicate all concepts and guidelines to development team. Travel across Europe to meet and coordinate with relevant partners. Work closely with product management, engineering, quality assurance, sales, and professional services teams. To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have: Demonstrable experience in the field of software architecture and design of sophisticated software systems. Previous experience in: analyzing, designing, and implementing concurrent, distributed, scalable, real time and highly available systems. Knowledge of: Java Ecosystem, frontend stack based on Javascript / Typescript, microservices based architecture, ideally based on Java SpringBoot and Kubernetes Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices and with agile software development processes (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban) and tools (Atlassian Jira/Confluence and alike). SAFe certification is a plus. Education background in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent Good communication skills to manage multi-cultural situations in complex organizations.
