Technology & Innovation (T&I) is responsible for SAP’s overall platform and technology development such as SAP Cloud Platform and SAP HANA. In addition, T&I drives the incubation and adoption of intelligent technologies like Analytics, SAP Leonardo Machine Learning and IoT across SAP’s product portfolio. The T&I board area is also in charge of SAP’s global innovation agenda and builds new business model- and market driven innovations to help customers realize the most business value.

We are looking for talents who want to share the challenge and excitement that we’re enjoying with delivering technology innovation and world-class mission-critical enterprise-scale software into the real world. This open position is for SAP HANA Kernel Development team which takes a central role in SAP HANA core development and are continuously expanding the scope toward cloud-native database architecture and scalable big data platform.

Mandatory  skill set 

·         Master’s degree in computer science with 5+ years working experiences or Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years working experience on software development

·         C/C++ (incl multi-threaded programming)

·         Computer architecture, Linux, Python 

·         High standard on software quality 

·         Professionalism, Responsibility, Integrity, and Team work

·         Interest in solving "real" problems with new ideas and logical reasoning

Desired skill set (qualified if you can meet one of the below items)

·         Database

Data virtualization and federation 
PostgreSQL, MySQL, other major DBMS 
DBMS or DB application development experience or DBA experience
