Responsibilities

The Surface development team is seeking a talented software development engineer with strong track record of shipping application software. Job responsibilities will encompass designing and coding applications that enable or complete end-to-end experiences in conjunction with Surface devices and accessories. You need to be a team player who works well in a collaborative environment with peers in other development disciplines, Quality and Program Management. Experience with mobile platforms is a plus, as is experience contributing to open source projects, including operating systems. In some cases your work will take you close to the lower levels of the operating system, so good working knowledge of OS fundamentals, and ability to debug problems across the full software stack is important.
