Job Purpose

 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing rules on SQL server based on Functional requirement from the Business. You will work on SQL server and engaged in writing complex queries, creating/amending procedures, packages, triggers, Indexes, Functions and transactions.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Design methodology and project documentation creation
• Properly understand business requirements and develop data views/models accordingly.
• Creating advanced level calculations to provide prescriptive and predictive analysis.
• Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications.

 

Skills & Experience

 

• 3+ years of experience in MS BI Stack (MS SQL Server, Dataverse, SSIS, SSRS), MS Excel, PowerPivot, PowerQuery
• 3+years of experience in SQL/TSQL. Creating complex Custom Views using SQL, ETL services to create data sets for reporting.
• 3+years of experience in Data Warehouse /Business Intelligence Experience /SQL Development/Database concepts/DB performance Optimization
• 3+ years of experience reviewing and documenting Technical & Business Requirements in relation to Business Intelligence, Data Management or software development projects.
• Experience in developing and managing stored procedures.
• Should have a proven track record of the skills outlined and a willingness to learn for gaps in the requirements.

 

Good to have

 

• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Power BI, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio, etc.
