Task Description
1. Development on Java Enterprise applications conforming to Daimler Standards and processes that enable reusability, efficiency, manageability, reliability, scalability & fault tolerance
2. Understanding project objectives and business requirements to design software based on customers’ needs
3. Consult & support customers within Daimler during product / application life cycle
4. Provide solutions and proof of concepts to customers' problems
5. Recommend industry best practices for applying engineering processes into problem domain
6. Coach and mentor junior in the team
Specific Knowledge and Skills
- Degree in IT or related industry
- Min 5 years of experience with Java Development
- Min 3 years of experience with Java Enterprise Technologies
- Java Programming related certification
- Java 8 and above
- Knowledge of backend technologies (e.g. Spring Boot)
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g. Angular)
- Experience working with CI/CD tools, build pipelines and test automation
- Experience in cloud technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search)
- Knowledge of agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
- Fluent in English spoken and written
