Our client a well known group in Hong Kong is looking for a Senior Software Engineer

The Department

IT Enterprise Solutions Department provides high-quality and innovative business application solutions (non-wagering) and IT services to all divisions of the departments, Customer and International Business Development , Corporate Planning, Branding, Membership, Charities and Community, Legal and Compliance, Corporate Affairs, People and Organizational Development, Finance, Audit, Property, Security & Integrity, and Integrated Project Management Office.

The Job

• Perform system design, development (including customization, interfaces, conversion and reporting), development testing and software release
• Lead and partner with a team of software engineers, offshore development resources and external resources to accomplish development tasks as defined in the Product Life Development Cycle under the supervision of project managers / technical managers
• Manage and coordinate with vendors efficiently to provide BAU application support from time to time and during outside office hours
• Comply with established standards and processes, conduct design / code review to ensure quality in delivering software deliverables
• Provide supports during system test

The Person:

• Degree qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• With 3 to 5 years of experience in software development, system integration, and system support
• Working experience on software development/maintenance, implementation and migration in fast paced software development life cycle is preferred
• Hands-on experience in C#, SQL, Crystal Report, SharePoint, Mobile App and asynchronous or multi-thread programming
• Knowledge in non-Windows operating system, MS SQL Server & Oracle database is preferred
• Solid experience on developing workforce management system will be an advantage
• Experience in vendor and project management
• Ability in problem troubleshooting and diagnosis
• Able to collaborate with offshore developers and work independently
• Ability to adapt in a fast moving project environment
• Good team player with sense of co-operation and be able to collaborate with different level of stakeholders in a complex environment
• Excellent in writing and presentation skills

Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
