We, at the Sonar team, within C+AI Security, build sandbox detonation platform and large scale distributed services for dynamic analysis of content (files & URLs) for blocking malware or phish. Our detonation platform has strict SLAs for latency & accuracy and serves as the detonation platform of choice for Office 365, Windows Defender ATP and MCAS; LinkedIn; Azure Sentinel, Office Forms etc. Our services provide malware as well as phishing protection based on combination of dynamic analysis as well as AI/ML based solutions built on big data platform like ADLS/ spark/ Azure databricks and graph store. We also integrate our threat intelligence and ML based detections as well as enrich the investigation experience into #AzureSentinel.

We are a highly collaborative, data driven and fast growing business that is currently looking for experienced full stack software engineers who are passionate about building large scale distributed data/threat intelligence services for Azure Sentinel, Office ATP, LinkedIn, and other partners.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer on the team, you will be working with other software engineers, security experts and applied ML engineers to build and mature our data /TI services to reliably process billions of signals per day, data sharing to/from partners, enable large scale signal correlations through our graph store and enable statistical analysis /experimentation on data. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Design and development of highly reliable, scalable, efficient and maintainable services
• Adding and optimizing monitoring coverage for services you own
• Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, service integration and geo-expansion, software performance analysis and system tuning. 
• Conduct periodic on call duties

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years software development experience
• 3+ years of professional experience building, shipping, and maintaining cloud services on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Excellent design and problem solving skills
• Experience with microservices architectures
• Experience with bigdata platforms like Azure Data Lake, Cosmos, HDInsight, Azure SQL or Azure Databricks/spark.
• Design, development and deployment of highly maintainable backend distributed systems/services and APIs
• Proven skills in high-level programming language like C#, .net core, python and good engineering best practices
