Software Defined Networking (SDN) in Azure Networking enables customers to realize and control the network they desire for their workload in the cloud. This is an exciting opportunity to be front and center of the a key innovation: SDN on edge. With increasing requirement for low latency computation, it is more and more desirable to have infrastructure stay close to customer workloads. We aim to provide an edge offering which are Azure-like infrastructure that customer can buy and install in their local DC, with all Azure services supported seamlessly.

Responsibilities

The responsibility for this position includes:

• Participate in designing solution for SDN on edge
• Implementation and deployment of SDN on edge
• Cross-team collaboration in driving the end to end delivery of SDN on Edge

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development is a must have
• Solid design and coding skills
• Experience with performance optimization is a plus
• Experience shipping high availability, scalability infrastructure services
• Passion and drive for profound impact
• BS or MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experiences

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
