Azure Stack is part of the fastest growing segment within the server market and enables our customers to extend Azure services to on-perm and edge locations; run edge computing workloads, run virtualized applications on-premises, use cloud services on-premises.
Responsibilities
Our team is part of COSINE Fundamentals and we work on the low-level technology to keep the Azure Stack seamlessly up to date. We work with engineers from across the organization to ensure that the experience is reliable, fast and correct. We work to reduce engineering inefficiencies so that our customers can focus on building their solutions without worrying about how Azure Stack is updated.
We are looking for great developers with excellent communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills. You will have a passion for quality and be a creative thinker. You will write robust, reliable and maintainable code, and then roll it out to the organization. You should be comfortable making decisions independently.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of software development experience
Preferred Skills:
• Strong experience with C/C++ or other systems programming languages
• Experience with Operating Systems fundamentals and systems-level programming
• Knowledge of OS internals and architecture
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, collaboration and mentoring skills
• A positive attitude and a passion for software development
• BS in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Screen: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
