The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for technical analysis, design, development and testing for their assigned technical products or applications, within the context of an agile/DevOps delivery model.

Key responsibilities:

• Leads the creation of detail-level technical requirements and analyze business requirements in collaboration with business and software analysts, product leads, and other members of the DevOps teams.
• Create new applications and features that adhere to technical guidelines and functional business expectations in an Agile process.
• Create and maintain automated deployment pipelines to maintain quality control and deployment agility.
• Resolve escalated support topics as part of tier-3 DevOps role to ensure the highest availability of critical applications.
• Creates solutions and solve problems using a cloud-native toolchain, to ensure world-class uptime and business agility. 
• Evaluate vendor, service provider, and open-source code quality to ensure best-of-breed vendor and technology solutions.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related
• 4 years’ experience in management of information technology application development and directing the design of software development projects for web based, multi-tiered, and distributed applications.

Specific skills/other requirements 

• Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section):
  • three (3) years of experience in ensuring high-quality centralized logging and analytics and building micro-service architectures;
  • three (3) years of experience with Cloud Native Computing, such as Docker & Kubernetes in public cloud; and
  • one (1) year experience in application re-engineering methods and techniques to design systems leveraging tools such as Jira, Confluence, XML, JSON, XML Schema, XSLT, Web Services (REST, SOAP, WSDL and WS-*), and UNIX concepts and common network protocols.
