Responsibilities:

The appointee will provide support in research & development activities of the Centre and he/she is required to:

• Develop and deploy software libraries, algorithms and firmware for industrial applications in robotics and automation;
• Testing and fine-tuning systems parameters; and
• Other ad hoc technical assignments.

Requirements:

Applicants should have:

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering and related disciplines, higher degree is preferable;
• Min. 3 years hands-on experience of some of the following areas will be an advantage: Ubuntu, embedded system, microcontroller, Git;
• Knowledge/experience of programming languages, for example C/C++, Python, openCV, and/or ROS etc. Will be an advantage;
• Knowledge in multi-threading and object-oriented programming is an added advantage; and

• Fresh graduates or candidates with less experience may consider as Software Engineer/Research Assistant

Applicants should be proactive/self-motivated and hardworking in the day-to-day undertaking of assigned duties. The work location is in Shatin area. We offer successful candidates an attractive remuneration package with two years contract and with renewal possibilities.
