Azure IoT Platform makes it easy for customers to build, deploy, and manage IoT solutions on the edge and in the Azure cloud.

Successful candidates must have a proven track record of delivering high quality software, be well versed in software development and operations best practices, have strong technical depth, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Build scalable systems and services that provide dial-tone reliability and predictable performance to hundreds of millions of devices.
• Work directly with customers to understand, build, and deliver capabilities that helps customers get their job done

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field
• Solid computer science fundamentals, fluent in multi-threading, asynchronous programming, and strong inclination for architecting at scale
• Excellent technical design, problem solving, and debugging skills
• Experience developing and operating software on Azure or other similar cloud platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shipping and operating scalable and highly available services in the cloud
• Experience in consumer or industrial IoT space
• Good written and oral communication skills

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

• Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements 
• Candidates must have an active TS and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph) or have an active TS/SCI and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance. 
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
