As a Senior Software QE, you’ll become an expert in the health and quality of Wish’s platform and product. This role entails executing test plans, automating test cases, and proactively reporting issues to ensure that our platform and product provide a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative in solving problems and has prior experience in testing and automation.

What you'll be doing:

• Create, run and update automated test cases and suites

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering team members to devise test strategies, script test cases, and ensure that product requirements are accounted for in tests

• Author testing regressions to ensure comprehensive coverage of features and their integrated use in the product

• Investigate automated test failures to ensure high success from our automated tests

• Develop and track measurements to understand and drive test effectiveness and coverage

• Execute daily testing across various platforms to ensure functionality

• Assist with the creation of test cases as new features are being developed

• Document issues and suggest improvements on features and processes

• Collaborate with the engineering and product management teams to help reproduce and resolve issues

• Proactive in identifying new processes, team improvements, inefficiencies and work quickly to resolve them

• ​​​​Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field from a reputable institution or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years experience in mobile and web testing at another software company

• 2+ years of experience in test automation using any scripting language (java, python, javascript, etc)

• Passion for product quality and a positive user experience

• Knowledge of QA methodologies, best practices, and software development life cycle

• Ability to learn quickly and manage priorities in a fast paced development environment

• Experience in project management

• Highly driven and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

• Experience and passion in leading high impact projects and initiatives

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese

• Past experience as a Localization QA for Chinese language will be a huge plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with software tools for source control, bug tracking, and code coverage

• Previous experience working in a startup environment
