Responsibilities:

• Source products and suppliers throughout the country.

• Know and understand suppliers/factories and their capabilities, capacity and performance.

• Negotiate price/timing based on an in-depth understanding of product and project objectives.

• Monitor suppliers to meet and follow company policies and requirements.

• Provide input for suppliers assessment and collect relevant data to formulate sourcing proposal.

• Ensure all suppliers quotations and samples are completed on a timely basis for appropriate decision making to meet objectives.

• Manage order execution and resolve product and production issues on a timely and proactive manner, ensure that products are shipped on time, in full and with no quality issues at source or destination.

• Timely update order status to our US team.

• Prepare inspection reports and daily working reports to keep managers well informed of status of all programs.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of sourcing operations and quality control.

• Good negotiation skills in working with suppliers on product/price/timing and excellent problem solving skills.

• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and timelines and keep them on track.

• Able to work effectively under pressure. Highly motivated with high sense of urgency and initiative.

• Demonstrate adaptability on changes, obstacles, adversity.

• Demonstrate professional judgment/use expertise to make recommendation or decisions.

• Team player with ability to work with associates from different cultures.

• Basic product/production/industry knowledge for soft lines like hat/beanie/bag or giveaways, or display rack and POP displays etc.

• Excellent command of English and local language.

• Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

• Able to travel to factory for inspection etc.

• 2-5 working years above is preferred.
