Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the AIA Claims team to help uplift capability and capacity for the purpose of delivering exceptional customer and client outcomes. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the claims teams through exceptional claims management, payment authorisations, resolving technical queries and provide high quality customer service.

To do this successfully you will:

  • Deliver high quality, accurate and decision orientated claims assessments
  • Coach and mentor fellow team members
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders including Reinsurers, Technical Claims Consultants and the Risk and Compliance team
  • Identify and report on ongoing development opportunities for the Customer Claims Business Unit
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and initiatives.

Successful applications will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 5 years’ life insurance experience including knowledge of legislation and regulations affecting the industry
  • Ideally will hold a Band C/Level 3 Delegated Authority or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the claims management processes, definitions within policies and practices in claims investigation
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
