You will be responsible for performing general ledger accounting transactions according to global guidelines along with local legislations at Plant Debrecen.

Your work will focus primarily on:

-    Performing complete month-end closing accounting cycle: ensuring compliant postings of AP/AR, tangible assets, service fees, foreign assignments, bank movements, provision related bookings in SAP.
-    Performing GL Accounting related calculations as well as activities required for month-end closing according to the respective business deadlines.
-    Preparing tax declaration, representation at the authorities.
-    Participating in creating and introducing new processes for Accounting and in projects such as introduction of SAP S/4 Hana.
-    Managing transactions in the company travel management system (SAP Concur).
-    Cooperating proactively with international teams / SSC (including Headquarter Office).

Qualifications and Experience required:

-    University degree in Economics and Chartered Accountant Certification.
-    Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in similar job field in an international company. Manufacturing company experience would be an advantage.
-    Up-to-date knowledge of relevant Hungarian Tax and Accounting legislation.
-    Certification in IFRS Accounting and Tax Advisory degree is an advantage.
-    Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel and SAP FI module - S/4 Hana knowledge is an advantage.
-    Strong communication skills, along with independent, reliable and result-oriented way of working.
-    Fluent English and Hungarian both written and spoken is a must, German language would be an advantage.
