Job Description
Senior Specialist, Human Resources
In this role, you will be focusing on:
Organization Development and Engagement (Culture, Engagement Events)
· Support to champion organization culture through relevant programs and events implementation, partnering with business and internal stakeholders to land cultural solutions and create impactful organization changes.
· Support to lead the local and regional culture advocates committee to advance culture strategy and roadmap, work with global team to ensure alignment. Follow through initiatives such as featured interview spotlight, V-log series.
· Act as the project manager for the annual large-scale grand-site event “Family Day” and its relevant warm-up campaigns and activities. Able to mobilize internal resources such as the Employee Service Committees, department admins and Operations team and lead external vendors to ensure project coordination and follow-up, including logistics details and related payment process.
· Lead the HR team internal team building activities as well as site level Hobby clubs management. Supervise the activity plan from business teams, provide consultations when necessary.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
· Support to accelerate the Corporate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy across the APAC and China region, drive DE&I programs, leadership workshops and campaigns.
· Work with local BRGs (business resource group) such as Women’s Impact Network to create impactful initiatives, provide consultations and branding support for BRG’s work.
· Support to initiate evidence/data-based DE&I campaign solutions, leveraging external market benchmark and tools where needed.
Community Relations (Corporate Giving and Doing, Government Liaison)
· Manage the Corporate Giving and Doing strategic programs and projects implementation under the CSR pillars (Hunger Relief, STEM Education, Environmental Preservation and Equality).
· Support to roll out the local branded CSR campaigns and initiatives such as Volunteering teaching program, Future Tech Girls, Youth Tech Talk etc.
· Act as the key contact for local governmental and community organizations such as the local Chamber of Commerce and Union.
· Be active to seek collaboration opportunities with external community; Support to develop new non-profit partners for both Giving and Doing programs and Community outreach initiatives.
Strategic Communications (Internal and Leadership Comms)
· Support to drive large-scale internal communications efforts such as regional BU level as well as local level all hands meetings, town halls, manager communications meetings etc.
· Manage multiple communications channels including but not limited to e-mail broadcast, internal-facing social media accounts, intranet SharePoint, internal newsletters, office TV display and offline posters.
· Provide strong support in developing and supervising creative, meaningful content relevant to programs and initiatives such as the DE&I, Organization Culture, CSR and engagement based activities. Able to work with internal HR stakeholders (such as HR COE) and business teams to ensure proper content gating for all internal communications effort, provide professional communications advise when needed.
· Support to create impactful internal and executive communications content such as leadership messaging, video storytelling, creative vlogs etc.
· Work with corporate marketing and PR team to ensure effective business and product communication to employees, seek cross-promotion collaborations when needed.
· Support to manage the annual internal editorial calendar including data tracking, rolling up quarterly and annual report, channel performance and effectiveness tracking and able to come out with continuous improvement plan.
Qualifications
Preferred Candidate:
• Solid experience and proven track record in employee engagement activities planning and management. Excellent coordination skills and the ability of mobilizing resources across the organization. Experience of working with third-party event agencies and vendors.
• Experience in a wide spectrum of communications areas particularly on employee and organization communications, internal communications campaign planning and relevant content development (such as speech writing, translation and video creation).
• Project management skills and proven experience working with different stakeholders in a complex and cross-functional environment.
• A high energy go-getter with the passion to understand the business and organization and drive impactful changes, result-driven but also detail-oriented.
• Good inter-personal communications and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
