WHAT YOU’LL DO
Interprets and develops policies and procedures to achieve the objectives of SOX compliance
Provides guidance for developing new solutions and processes involving SOX related deficiencies
Oversees the annual cadence of SOX monitoring, annual reporting, and attestation requirements
Assists in the assessment of new ITGC controls, applications, and processes
Identifies SOX compliance gaps related to contracts and other third parties
Supports all annual testing required for SOX program, performed by internal and external vendors
Helps develop and support exceptions, risks, and incident response processes
Performs monitoring audits to ensure required SOX policy and regulatory controls are being followed and documented
Work with process and control owners to communicate audit results, identify remediation options, and prioritize action plans
Follow up on audit findings to ensure that all deficiencies are remediated
Cross functional support across suite of Finance Compliance Programs SOX, PCI and SWIFT controls framework
Clearly communicate vision deliverables, and project status to management and key technical and business stakeholders.
Deliver recommendations and risk interpretations in a clear, concise, and audience-specific format.
Empowers the organization through education and outreach on applicable security controls, requirements, best practices, and compliance.
Establish credibility and maintain strong working relationships with groups involved with privacy, security, and compliance matters.
Assesses and routinely refines the company’s auditing and monitoring program priorities to address and mitigate significant risks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Experience
In depth working knowledge of security frameworks - specifically SOX.
Strong understanding of security controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance. Make sure these are being followed and documented.
Strong written, oral and presentation skills. Once a month they may present SOX reports to leadership and this person will be responsible for help gathering all of that information and then present the findings to leadership.
This is not required, but experience with PCI and SWIFT Customer Security Controls Framework (CSCF) is a huge plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree and three (3) to five (5) years of information security and audit experience, specifically SOX ITGC control security, with direct experience in audit collection and ITGC control development.
Skilled in risk management, business risk analysis, and making complex business recommendations and decisions.
Technical knowledge and familiarity with security standards.
Senior level written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
Results oriented, high energy, self-motivated.
Analytical aptitude and a desire to invest the time to identify issues and solutions.
Strong critical thinking skills and interpersonal skills.
Ability to present and articulate analysis with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Effective team-oriented leadership skills.
