  • Planning the sourcing strategies and setting up a suitable supplier portfolio for BMW Plant Debrecen.
  • Training and development in the Central Purchasing departments in Munich.
  • Analyzing business demands to conduct the requests for quotation and plan the purchasing process steps and awards.
  • Negotiating commercial terms and supporting BMW Group business departments to reach their financial targets regarding invest and budget.
  • Setting up and tracking supplier frame contracts as well as managing purchase orders.
  • Training and coaching Buyers and other departments’ employees in the standardized procurement process of the BMW Group.
  • Ensure competition and compliance guidelines are met.

We want to keep driving towards the future, so our team is currently seeking for a Senior Specialist Indirect Purchasing.In your new role you will be responsible for purchasing of building construction, consumables and services related to areas like security, facility management, fire protection, etc. Furthermore, support of market screenings for supplier innovations as well as development of purchasing processes will be also in the scope of your tasks.

What you should bring along?

 

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in the construction industry or facility management, especially in a role concerning pricing and cost calculations.
  • Technical or Commercial University degree.
  • Expert level competencies and experience in supplier negotiations, bidding process and request for proposal coordination in the area of construction and facility services.
  • English and Hungarian proficiency. German would be an advantage.
  • User proficiency MS Office and a Purchasing system required. Confident Excel and PowerPoint user. SAP MM or similar procurement software would be an advantage.
  • Openness to innovation and digital trends in Purchasing and project related improvements.
  • Willingness to travel for the training phase (2 times for 3 months in Munich) and for normal business activities (project related on-site supplier visits).
