About Role:
The Lenovo Asia Pacific Talent Acquisition team is a team of recruitment
specialists who are responsible for the sourcing, selection and on boarding of
the best talent in our industry. With coverage across all countries in Asia
Pacific, we provide the Lenovo business with end to end recruitment services
covering all areas of our business from client facing functions to corporate
functions and technology. Your role within our team will be to support our
growth objectives in the region.
Our business is growing & evolving aggressively, so this is an exciting
opportunity to get in at the beginning of this growth and work for a world
class brand hiring the very best talent and genuinely make a difference.
Responsibility:
• Work with hiring managers on a daily basis. Share trackers/reports, engage
through staff meetings, 1x1 and share TA movements. Use Job Intake form to
understand/gather the need. Work as a consultant and Account Manager for
respective requisitions/BU.
• Build market intelligence on technology hiring. Build passive pool of
database specific to Software Group (R&D), use social media and direct
channels to build pipeline.
• Use Peoplefluent effectively for the on-going day to day needs. Must be able
to independently pull /schedule reports, do analysis, prepare review decks.
• work with internal team and champion for a cause Viz., Social Media/Direct
Sourcing
• Build strong candidate engagement. Work with candidates on the
interview/selection process, post offer follow-up, on-boarding etc. Must be
able to assess /judge candidates through interviews or such mechanism.
• Independently source candidates through job boards/Social media
• Engage business and candidates on an on-going basis.
• Represent Lenovo, the brand, and each open position, professionally and
passionately.
• A well developed understanding of one or more geographical and functional
recruiting portfolios.
• The ability quickly develop a strong sense of our brand, culture,
marketplace and growth strategy with the ability to articulate this to
perspective candidates
• Ensure that all recruiting practices are compliant with local, regional and
global employment laws that Lenovo adhere too.
• Well developed skills managing applicant tracking to ensure compliance with
government regulations and reduce risk to company.
• Develop recruiting strategies for each open position, in partnership with
management, clearly defining sourcing strategies and expectations while being
able to identify risk early in the hiring process and proactively resolve.
The Ideal Candidate will have;
• Well developed skills in the preparation, creation, management of job
postings, recruitment materials, and our company website, to be compelling,
effective, fresh, and consistent with our brand image.
• Experience sourcing with a focus on inventive ways to find qualified
candidates
• Prepare and manage job postings, assemble recruitment materials, complete
reference checks and schedule candidate interview and phone screenings while
ensuring proper follow up with hiring manager and candidate to ensure a
seamless recruitment/interviewing/on boarding experience.
• Coordinate weekly follow up emails with candidates i.e. declines after phone
screens/interviews
• Makes final hiring recommendations in partnership with Field Recruiter and
Regional Manager including preparation of final offer letter
• Generate weekly, monthly, and annual recruiting reports.
#### Position Requirements:
• Knowledge of and ability to learn various innovative sourcing and
prescreening activities and related tools
• Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment,
sometimes under pressure remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and
efficient
• Exemplify professional and ethical behaviors; follows all policy and
procedures
• Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making
ability and attention
• Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System required.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and in timely
manner
• Ability to prioritize & organize assignments to meet deadlines with
exceptional accountability and follow up
• Ability to effectively work independently and with others to support strong
team development
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
