Job Description
On behalf of our client, a multinational enterprise with strategic interests in the nuclear fuel cycle and uranium supply chain, we are seeking a senior advisor to provide expert counsel on this critical mineral sector. This part-time consulting engagement offers remote flexibility and direct influence on strategic decision-making.
The Role
We require an authoritative expert on uranium geology, mining, conversion, enrichment, or nuclear fuel market dynamics. Operating as a remote consultant, you will deliver timely intelligence on supply security, geopolitical risk, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability considerations. Your analysis will directly inform investment decisions, procurement strategies, and stakeholder engagement in a highly specialized and policy-sensitive market.
Key Responsibilities
• Advise executive leadership on global uranium supply chain resilience, from exploration through fuel fabrication
• Assess geopolitical and regulatory risks across key producing and consumer jurisdictions
• Provide confidential briefings on non-proliferation frameworks, export controls, and emerging ESG standards in the nuclear fuel sector
• Support strategic engagements with government authorities, international atomic energy bodies, and indigenous stakeholder communities
• Monitor and interpret market fundamentals, technological developments, and multilateral policy initiatives
Candidate Background
You are an acknowledged authority in the uranium/nuclear fuel sector through one of the following:
• Senior leadership in uranium exploration, mining, or nuclear fuel services with proven policy interface experience
• Former senior official from a national nuclear regulator, geological survey, or energy ministry
• Principal analyst or program lead at a reputable nuclear energy or critical minerals institute
• International experience with the IAEA, NEA, or equivalent intergovernmental body
You possess deep technical-commercial acumen, a trusted international network, and the ability to navigate complex non-proliferation and environmental governance structures.
Compensation & Terms
This consultancy offers a competitive package with flexible structuring (retainer or project-based). We provide:
