Job description

• Lead and control the statutory submission schedule of renovation/A&A and fitting out works.
• Prepare the design brief of new projects according to company standards and business needs.
• To review layout plan and design concepts prepared by external consultants and review AutoCAD drawings to meet statutory requirements.
• To collaborate with other Development Team members, design consultants to solve any technical issues for building the new projects.
• Must be knowledgeable of handling all necessary government submissions.
• Liaise with the appointed Professional Consultants and Authorized Persons, prior and after construction, for the necessary Consents, Approvals and Licensing granted from the Local Authorities to ensure full compliance with building code.
• Performing design and code reviews.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements
• To handle tendering and appointment of external consultants
• Communicate, coordinate and supervise with all overseas and local consultants to ensure that the building complains with local codes and regulations.
• Liaise with local architect and make sure that the statutory submissions are submitted to Macau authorities and approved in time to meet the construction program.
• Assure all projects are performed in a timely and professional manner. These include phasing plans, schedules and government approvals.
• To make periodic reports and assessment of risk management involving statutory submissions
• To establish handover procedures during completion of construction.
• To report to direct superior regarding complaint from user and review for remedial actions be taken.
• To carry out any other duties as assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements

• Architect with minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience, DSSOPT registration is a must.
• Familiar with statutory submission requirements and procedures for renovation/A&A and fitting out works in Casino, Retail or Hospitality Projects.
• Familiar with Macau Architectural statutory requirements and submissions/ approval procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with good command of written and spoken Chinese and English (Cantonese).
• High Integrity and honest.
• Strong leader to lead development team.
• Good team player to work with other departments.
• Organized ability to work under pressure.
• Team player with a high level of responsibility & commitment.
• Strong computer skills including Autocad, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
