Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lead project teams in process & capacity improvement, industrialization of new innovative products and services, capital projects and Change Management for the engineering function. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Assist in the creation, maintenance and tracking of engineering projects portfolio for the MCB Haina Plant. 2. Lead the Project & Change Management team, stablish Goals and Metrics and track progress. 3. Hire and develop talent in the PM and Change Management/control functions. 4. Support a variety of key projects such as: Capital Projects, Process Improvement, Capacity Increase, New Equipment introduction, New Product Industrialization, Facilities acquisitions and others. 5. Lead and Support Key Change Management Processes like MOC, ECO’s, RAMP events, Document Control Processes for Standard Documentation for Engineering and others required. 6. Lead ProLaunch STP Gates and WP’s as well as ProLaunch NPI Work Packages for MCB Haina. 7. Act as a technical advisor to product line managers and/or manufacturing engineers throughout the ProLaunch process 8. Stay abreast of Project Management tools, techniques and trends in order to improve the executions of projects for the engineering function. 9. Research and develop business case(s) for new Profit Plan cycle to understand viability of proposed improvements and their impact to the Bottom Line. 10. Make recommendations and systematic operative and administrative processes through the Lessons Learned tool. 11. Provide timely and accurate data to all project stakeholders; communicate across CRDS plants and leadership (Haina-LP and Division). Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS): 1. Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator. 2. Assist to all EHS training assigned. 3. Promote and promulgate all MESH Process and Policies to all the employees under his/her supervisor and ensure that they are being performed at his/her area. 4. Provide all resources needed to ensure that all MESH policies and procedures all performed by his/her personal under his/her supervision. #LI-MM3 Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or an engineering degree in similar course of study at an accredited university a. Prefer: Master’s degree Engineering, Business or Project Management. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in related roles. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Bilingual (English / Spanish skills) Knowledge of: Process Design, Lean (LSW, Standard Work, 5S, Material Flow, other), Health 7 Safety, Ergonomics, 6Sigma, Quality Tools, others. Knowledge Project Management, Change Management and CI Tools. Prefered: Project Management Professional certified (PMP). Drive for results, Think and Act strategically; Builds organizational capabilities, Leadership attributes.
