Job Description
Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Chief Concierge and within the limits of established Galaxy StarWorld Hotel policies and procedures, responsible to ensure guests cars are parked and retrieved without damage at all times providing efficient and courteous service to hotel guests and visitors.
Responsibilities & : Has full awareness, manages and supervises all tasks of his
Authorities staff.
Maintains the communication log book of his/her section.
Conducts monthly meeting of his/her section.
Identifies training needs and conducts training sessions accordingly.
Is responsible for the P & L reports of his/her section.
Prepares efficient work schedule for Valet Parking Team staff, taking occupancy and forecasts any large group movements/functions into consideration.
Assist guests and patrons of the hotel with the parking and
delivery of their vehicles.
Issues parking coupons to guest and patrons who require such service.
Ensures a free flow of traffic at the main entrance and car park.
When parking a vehicle, ensures that it is properly locked; that no valuables are left in the vehicle and note down any damage to the vehicle.
Reports any damage or valuables in the vehicle prior to parking the vehicle.
Ensures smooth delivery of the vehicle.
Ensures the exact location of the vehicle must be indicated on the parking coupon.
Whenever required, assist Doorman in calling of taxis.
Assists Bell Attendant in unloading luggage from vehicle upon arrival of guests and whenever necessary, help bring the luggage into the hotel lobby.
Ensures that the front entrance and all parking lots are clean at all times.
Ensures that any unclaimed vehicle left in the car park is reported to the Concierge/Duty Manager.
Ensures car keys are in key locker and well organized.
Assumes other duties assigned by Management as required.
