The role

The Valuation Business Line is a key strength in the Chelmsford office, depending on your position, requirements may include conducting a mix of appraisal and valuation work for investment and banking clients although your primary role will invovle residential valuation work.

Key Devilverables

• Carry out both pulic and private sector Valuations
• Secure referrals from clients to other departments within the Firm where possible in order to boost the overall fee income of the Firm
• Attending Client meetings where required

Responsibilities

Financials

• Contribute to the teams' fee earnign target
• Is aware of the team target and the role they play in achieving this
• Understands what generates revenue and makes profit

Clients and Business Development

• Manages existing clients relationships at a senior level on a day to day basis
• Can identify new business opportunities outside own discipline and pass on
• Responsible for managing small to medium sized instructions or subsections of major projects
• Works independently on most assignments but receives guidance from senior team members
• Has broad knowledge of principles and practices of related disciplines
• Enhances BNP Paribas Real Estate’s reputation through successful delivery
• Builds own network within service lines

People

• Supervises teams on assignments
• Shares knowledge with/ provides information to colleagues and team
• Mentors other junior colleagues - where appropriate

Systems and Process

• Evaluates, adapts and improves standards, techniques and procedures, as part of the wider team approach
• Is a contributor to BNP Paribas Real Estate projects

Essential qualifications

• Educated to degree level
• MRICS

Essential experience

• Demonstrable record of delivery in the UK Real Estate market with a Valuation background
• Good analytical skills
• Proficient IT software skills
• Previous experience of enhancing performance through growth and profitability
• Developing profile as a business generator with assistance from the team
