The Senior System Engineer – will be required to provide ongoing support to all business units for the BAU run for Citrix Cloud VDI and Virtual apps which is deployed in AIA MS Azure.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Manage the primary support vendor.
• Provide support to business units support teams.
• Develop, maintain, and update Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments as required and in line with best practice.
• Monitor Citrix & virtual environment for capacity, risk, and workload and flag to management and where applicable take necessary remediation steps
• Apply best practices, strategies, methodologies, and approaches to VDI project.
• Provide documentation of application and desktop configurations.

Requirements of the Role:

• Self-starter able to work with remote teams.
• Degree holder in IT / Computer Science or equivalent discipline
• At least 5+ years of practical experience with Citrix /VDI and Virtual App deployments in large enterprises preferably within FSI.
• Experience with troubleshooting and deploying Virtual applications
• Good experience in VDI deployment and support using different provision methods
• Cloud experience with Azure is beneficial
• Ability to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot VDI Environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
• Certification with Citrix is highly desirable
