We offer you the chance to take up an exciting role in automotive software development. As part of the architecture and system engineering team you will be optimizing the software of our next generation Linux and Android control units.  

What awaits you?

• You will deliver and maintain the system software configuration (boot sequence, groups, namespaces, containers).
• You will debug transversal software issues related to performance, stability and resource usage.
• You will perform code reviews and propose improvements to reinforce compliance of design with overall software architecture.
• You will develop proof-of-concepts aiming at consolidating architecture decisions.
• You will implement dedicated tools to support above activities.

What should you bring along?

• University degree in Computer Science or a similar field of study at university/FH level.
• Deep architectural understanding of embedded systems based on Linux or Android.
• Strong knowledge of different Linux tools for software analysis, debugging, tracing.
• Proven development experience in C++ using agile development methods.
• Good business English mandatory, German language skills are a plus.
