Job Responsibilities:

• Support IT Infrastructure, including SAN storage, backup and recovery solution on Linux, Windows and VMware platforms

• Implement infrastructure solution and support mission critical, high performance trading systems, which demand stability, high throughput and low latency

• Perform regular storage administration, recovery verification, performance monitoring as well as trouble shooting

• Improve daily operation process, maintain supporting document and inventory

• Assist on procurement process and perform asset management

• Manage vendors to provide effective and high quality support services

• Handle patch management on SAN storage, Linux servers as well as Windows servers

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Information Systems or Computer Science

• At least 6 years hands-on experience on SAN storage administration, backup and recovery solution implementation

• Familiar with enterprise storage system and storage network architecture, such as Hitachi Storage, EMC, Cisco and Brocade SAN switch devices

• Strong knowledge on supporting backup and recovery solution, such as EMC Networker Data Protection, and Commvault

• Experience on troubleshooting of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Microsoft Windows servers, and VMware platform

• Experience on system clustering software is an advantage

• Ability to work under pressure in supporting mission critical systems

• Proficient in technical documentation and inventory handling

• Good interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese

• Willing to provide support in the non-office hours or weekends when necessary

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Systems Engineer
