Abbott EMEA Talent Acquisition in Warsaw, Poland is looking for a

(Senior) Talent Acquisition Specialist

ideally with strong German language skills

You will start on a 2 year contract based out of our EMEA Talent Acquisition Team in Warsaw, Poland supporting German speaking countries from Recruiting perspective.

There are very high chances to get converted to perm for this position.

Abbott’s Talent Acquisition team is a global organization supporting global hiring, executive recruitment, University Relations, employer branding, and diversity and inclusion strategies.

You operate in multiple business Divisions (Pharma, Nutrition, Diagnostics and Medical Devices) and are responsible for full-cycle recruiting efforts for contributor and managerial positions for all of Switzerland.

Activities from requirement definition through offer negotiation and hire, using the Abbott Talent management system “Workday” and CRM tool "Phenom".

Reporting to the Area Manager Talent Acquisition and being Part of the Cluster Central Eastern Europe Team. You have the responsibility to deliver on the recruiting plan, while effectively communicating with internal customers.

The position ensures that high quality-standards are met in hiring practices, measured against KPI (Time to fill, hiring manager satisfaction survey, new hire satisfaction survey and retention rate).

Key Deliverables:

  • Design and implement proactive sourcing activities and active candidate assessment and selection for a mix of roles across all Abbott Divisions

  • Engage with Switzerland based Hiring Managers on specific individual contributor & Manager positions and drive full-cycle recruiting process (from Intake to Hire)

  • Complete a screening assessment as well as personality inventory of all candidates and record this information into CRM

  • Develop passive candidate sourcing strategy and pipelines using various methods.

  • Drive specialized passive candidate marketing plans to create talent communities in CRM.

  • Build and manage process to qualify candidates using the available job description information, references, technical screens and test sources.

  • Deliver exceptional candidate slates by using well proven, passive candidate recruiting methodologies. Identify potential strategic talent and introduce to the business.

  • Drive operational excellence and compliance and set high sourcing standards. Ensure delivery against key metrics.

  • Manage and maintain diversity strategy to attract a diverse workforce to the company by hiring talented people of varied backgrounds, experiences and styles.

  • Take ownership of the Abbott candidate experience, ensure that it is a positive and respectful one.

  • Share best practices, industry and market intelligence data to Senior Recruiters and client teams. Combine information (talent market trend, threats, opportunity, etc.) to be used for strategic business planning.

Key Competencies:

  • University degree or equivalent; relevant working experience can replace University studies

  • Strong German and English language skills

  • Track record of sourcing and recruiting (min 2 years in E2E recruiting), can be inhouse, Agency or RPO experience or mixed.

  • Healthcare market knowledge and experience is a benefit but not mandatory

  • Strong skills or ability to learn driving and owning the TA process ensuring candidate and client management satisfaction while partnering with Business HR

  • Professional, accountable, high energy and collaborative team player

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Competitive drive, strong work ethic, and motivation to learn, grow and succeed

  • Ability to build professional relations across all levels of the business, including business acumen with Senior Executives
