Job Description

Provides the full range of talent finding services to identify and attract talent to support SDL’s current project requirements as well as enable growth in key areas and the expansion of our service offering to clients.  Applies advanced recruitment and selection expertise to ensure results, frequently in strategic and/or complex areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence – Creates resourcing proposals for complex and/or critical campaigns (e.g., evaluating current resourcing, capacity planning, etc.).  Develops and executes recruitment campaigns that include: sourcing plan, promotion/advertising, use of social media, application processing, selection/testing, rate negotiation.  Effectively communicates to project team and other stakeholders. Meeting deadlines for recruitment of both employees and freelancers.
• Delivers Quality, Value, and Results – Performs detailed analysis on to meet current and future demands.  Effectively leverages appropriate techniques to build talent pipelines.
• Functional Excellence – Represents SDL and helps build the SDL brand and supply chain.   Leads and/or supports initiatives that enable freelancers and new employees integrate effectively into projects.
• Relationship Building – Collaborates cross-organizationally to identify ways to enhance the supply chain function.  Leverages external networks and relationships to produce better results (e.g., candidate quality, agile supply chain).

Competences and Experience

• Native-like level of DE
• Proficient in EN
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills with an excellent telephone manner
• At least 2 years of recruiting and sourcing experience
• Experience partnering with and influencing stakeholders
• knowledge in direct sourcing and effective interviewing techniques
• Able to execute in a high-volume, fast paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and to work to tight deadlines
• Proactive and flexible approach, reliable and systematic
• Experience in the localization industry is preferred
• Ability to negotiate
• PC literate with good experience of MS Office, especially Word and Excel
• Advanced knowledge of Internet searching and Boolean logic
• Working knowledge of ATS tools and technologies
