The BBIO China Senior Technical Advisor & Teamleader Field Service Special is responsible for the coordination of all China interests related to special NMR applications (2nd-level tasks, UHF, special solids, DNP, in-house repairs, etc.). This includes to take care of training engineers & customers and to support customers and Bruker staff during installiation and service of systems and accessories. This position is also responsible f to establish and evaluate procedures, hardware, and software, support with the aim of enhancing service products, product quality and profitability.

Control and mandates adequate training level of his service team and monitor training certificate validation

Establish local escalation process and act as interface to global 2nd level support as well as to the regional managers

Monitor in-house repair workload and efficiency and support during times of high workload

Regular customer contacts (visit or phone) to ensure maximum satisfaction

Other duties as assigned that are broadly in line with the above and key objectives

Close cooperation with regional SLS Admin Team and regional service managers

Regularly check cryogenic liquids supply and cooperate with local cryogenic supply companies

A Bachelor’s degree, or higher education, in an appropriate science or engineering discipline

Current valid driving licence

A level of competence in interpersonal communication (both written and oral) in English

Ability to deal with people at all levels

Some fundamental knowlegde of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as SAP transactions specifically addressing service needs
