About The Role:

The Senior Consultant is a technical resource that is critical to successful Tridion software implementations. A Senior Consultant will work with colleagues and customers to successfully implement Tridion Docs solutions and enable the success of our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides the full range of strategy and technical solutions/services to client engagements, often for complex projects, new accounts and/or new business
  • Leads a work stream in delivering the full cycle of activities from problem identification to solution proposal to implementation and close
  • Partner with other RWS divisions and partners to ensure successful delivery
  • Develop positive customer relationships by developing innovative solutions to address complex requirements or environments
  • Helps to cultivate future business opportunities by understanding the client’s evolving business needs
  • Work within the overall project plan and collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects on time, on budget, and in scope with as close to zero defects as possible
  • Drives evolution of the internal processes and knowledge through collaboration and mentoring and knowledge sharing

Requirements:

Experience in software life-cycle is required

Experience in some of the following areas:

  • Configuration and deployment of component content management solutions (CCMS)
  • Knowledge of the DITA XML standard
  • Implementing rules-based publishing systems (DITA Open Toolkit, XSL-FO, XSLT, SDL XPP, SDL Tridion Docs)
  • Knowledge of CSS3, HTML, XML, JavaScipt, C#, and .NET
  • Knowledge of creating the appropriate network architecture to scale to the software implementation
  • Communication skills with customers at all levels including IT staff, Business Users, and Executives
  • Writing skills to create detailed software design documents and network topology diagrams
  • Field consulting or professional services delivery experience
  • Group presentations skills, such as conducting classroom training or presenting to a large audience
  • Knowledge of localization process including software engineering, DTP, graphics, translation, internationalization, multimedia and knowledge of translation and workflow tools and process

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • The ability to apply theories, principles, concepts, and methodologies to innovative solutions.  Plans and completes assignments, resolving most conflicts independently
  • Passion to create a career working with a component content management solution
  • Authorization work in the Netherlands or Belgium and is based close to Amsterdam, Hengelo or Leuven
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and feel comfortable in group settings
  • A curious desire to learn
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Integrity in their actions
  • Empathy
