Job Description
The position is technical service front line that provides direct technical support and technical advice to customers, Sales, Marketing and R&D in all matters relating to product application. The sales area scope is China. Job responsibilities include handling the TCS laboratory activities.

Major Responsibilities
  • Regular interface with Customers. Provide formulation support and attend trials.
  • Work closely with sales to achieve the growth objectives.
  • Train sales team and distributor sales force.
  • Participate in regional trade shows. Monitor competitive, regulatory change and emergence of new technologies.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, and Sales in new product introduction.
  • Initiate application development work to expand product use into new segment/application
  • Handle the product application testing, interpret the analytical data and demise a technical report for customer.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly lab. Ensure safe handling & storage of chemical in the laboratory.

Required Skills

Required Experience
  • 5 years minimum industrial experience in formulating coatings
  • Possess knowledge in English and Chinese. Excellent communication and presentation skills are critical success factors.
  • Willing to travel within the region averaging 15% with peak to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in General Chemistry or Polymer Science.
