Responsible for providing application development and support services to meet AIA's business needs

The duties and responsibilities of a Senior TA are as listed below. The list is not exhaustive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

•  Work alongside with vendors to support new application development and implementation for our Corporate Solution division
• Contribute to application landscape planning and provide technical expertise/impact analysis for a quality technical design and deliverables.
• Communicate proactively with all involved stakeholders, project manager, leads and project team members to provide progress update and sharing technical solution.
• Always strive to look for opportunities improving the existing architecture and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with other team members in an agile environment to accomplish the project objective.
• To ensure project deliverables successfully achieved within the scope, timeline and budget.
• Work with business and technical team to support existing application and BAU related matter

Education:

• Degree from a recognized University preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science

Experience:

• At Least 3-6 years of relevant working experience required

Certifications/Licences:

• Professional qualification in Life Insurance i.e Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII), Life Office Management Association (LOMA) will be a value-added advantage

Technical Skills:

• Requires in-depth experience, knowledge and understand application design/development and best engineering practice.
• You have Group/Life insurance domain knowledge
• You have good knowledge of Azure cloud, Java, Database such as MS SQL.
• Preferably, you also have some experience with
  • Web services
  • Microservices/API
  • Kubernetes, Dockers
  • CI/CD
  • Automated testing
  • Drools

• Works independently with minimal guidance
• Manage resource and ability to perform capacity planning

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, care about quality, importance of automated testing and continuous improvement

• Customer Focus - interprets customer needs, assesses requirement and identifies solutions to non-standard requests
• Influence - Explains information and persuades others in straightforward situations
