Eaton’s Electronics Business is currently seeking a Senior Technician to join our team. This position is based at our Pleasanton, CA location. Position Overview: The senior technician will primarily work in the electrical test lab to operate test equipment and test samples according to the test plan. The technician will manage the overall testing schedule. The technician will also perform a wide range of office support and administration duties such as invoice processing, vendor management and communication, purchase request submittal, etc. Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. In this function you will: Manage sample test schedules for long term testing to ensure samples are tested at required intervals. Conduct product testing using manual and automated testers. Extract and process results into test database. Examine test results and work with engineering for analysis. Organize test data, tested samples and records. Support design engineers to build prototype, test, and verify designs. Receive and organize facility invoices and other mail. Enter and code invoices to AP, track status, and resolve issues. Responsible for creating purchase request and managing approval routing. Local vendor management. Function as on-site point for local vendors. Provide daily support for front office activities. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Associates Degree from an accredited institution 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, telecommunications, and/or electronics industry Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Pleasanton, CA will be considered.
