POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Technician – Okura Engineering is responsible to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation and maintenance of Engineering System and Equipment, Building Services and Guestroom upkeep within the Hotel Okura Macau.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

1. Understand and follow the repair and maintenance procedures, use of materials, tools and equipment for all Engineering System.
2. Understand and follow all relevant occupational health and safety procedures
3. Work closely with all other departments to achieve maximum guest satisfaction and according to standard operating procedure especially guest interaction.
4. Possibly to lead the technician for completion of engineering job orders within the schedule.
5. Responds to work request and work order accordingly and notify Supervisor and Help Desk on all work related information and assignment status.
6. Attend relevant training to improve skills and technical knowledge.
7. Attend shift duties as necessary and assigned.
8. Respond to the needs of the business on a 24/7 rotational shift.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Formal qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering Services discipline.
2. A minimum 5-year experience in engineering operation and maintenance of hotel and casino facilities.
3. Experience in maintenance of guestroom including interior finishes and engineering system
4. Team spirit, cooperation and “Can Do” attitude.
5. Proficiency in English and Cantonese, both written and spoken is preferred.
6. Knowledge of Mandarin is preferred.
7. PC knowledge is preferred but not essential.
